Step 1: Access Your Profile
- Open Instagram and locate the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- Tap on your profile photo.
Step 2: Locate Your Username
- Once you’re on your profile, check the top of the screen.
- Your username will be displayed there. (Example: htdt3226)
Step 3: Access Security Settings
- Tap on the three horizontal lines in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Select “Settings” from the menu.
Step 4: Navigate to Security Settings
- In the settings menu, tap on “Security” located in the middle of the page.
Step 5: Enable Saved Login Info
- Click on “Saved login info”.
- Toggle the switch to enable this feature.
Note: This ensures that you won’t need to remember your password each time you log in. Instagram will remember it for you.
Step 6: Changing Your Password (If Needed)
- To change your password, go back to the “Security” section.
- Tap on “Password”.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to change your password.
Important: You will need to know your current password to set a new one. Instagram does not provide a way to retrieve your current password.
Step 7: Log In Without Remembering Your Password
- After enabling “Saved login info”, you can easily log in without remembering your password.
- Simply log out and then click on your username to log back in. Instagram will automatically fill in your password for you.
