Mugshot released of 14-year-old Georgia high school shooting suspect
Breaking news update: Within the last hour, we have received the first image of the suspected shooter involved in the tragic incident at a Georgia high school, where two teachers and two students were killed, and nine others were injured. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has identified the suspect as 14-year-old Colt Gray.
The FBI has confirmed that Gray will be tried as an adult and is now in custody. Authorities believe Gray acted alone in the shooting at Appalachee High School, which claimed the lives of two teachers and two students. During a press conference last night, Georgia law enforcement officials revealed the identities of the four victims. The FBI also disclosed that Gray had been part of a prior investigation after being linked to several online threats. However, at the time, there was no arrest, as the FBI stated there was ‘no probable cause for arrest.’ The GBI confirmed that the weapon used in the attack was an automatic, platform-style firearm. Additionally, Gray’s family had previous interactions with the Department of Family and Children Services.”
